HI! I'M MARISSA TEETER

I’ve spent more than 20 years building businesses, leading teams, navigating change, driving growth and working alongside some incredibly talented people.

I’ve been a Senior Executive. A Business Builder. An Entrepreneur. A Strategist. A Coach and Advisor. I’ve worked inside and alongside large organizations, entrepreneurial businesses and start-ups, with responsibility for people, performance, growth and results.

Today, you’ll find me in boardrooms and on stages - advising leadership teams, coaching successful executives, entrepreneurs and financial professionals, and speaking to audiences of all sizes. I’ve also had the privilege of moderating conversations and interviewing some pretty incredible people over the years, including Wayne Gretzky, Dan Levy, Hayley Wickenheiser, Robin Roberts and former Prime Minister Jean Chrétien to name a few.

I have been fortunate and grateful to have my work and community involvement recognized, including IIAC Top 40 Under 40, Women in Finance Award finalist, three YMCA-YWCA Women of Distinction Awards and a SUCCESS Magazine Woman of Influence nomination. I’ve continued to fuel my passion for ongoing learning and trying new things through executive education at Harvard, Wharton, Georgetown and Rotman business schools and appearing on CBC’s The Dream Team. I also host my own podcast, Teeter Talks.

But perhaps the most important realization wasn’t about how to build a successful career - it was about what I wanted that success to make possible. I’m still ambitious. I still love big goals, growth and seeing what’s possible. I didn’t become less ambitious. I became more intentional about what I wanted my ambition to create. Because I’ve come to believe that success is only as valuable as what it allows us to build, contribute, experience and enjoy.

I help successful people and organizations step back from the day-to-day, ask better questions and get clear on what they want or need and why - and most importantly what they want all of this success to make possible.

Sometimes it means creating capacity. Pruning what no longer fits. Investing in the right relationships. Making difficult decisions. Or creating more room to actually enjoy what you’ve already worked so hard to build.

Because I don’t believe success should be something we endlessly chase. It should become something we intentionally use - to create greater impact, more choice, stronger relationships, meaningful experiences and more of what matters most.

To me, that’s legacy.

The more intentionally you build today, the more freely you can live tomorrow.
